ArT was a great learning platform where each project was something new and completely different from the previous. That has given me a confidence to always push the boundaries and try something new, rather that sticking to the known and familiar.

After I graduated from ArT, I took an MSc in Digital Design at Aarhus University. During my education as well as afterwards, I focused on getting as much experience and skill as possible by learning and working with others. I was part of Institute of (x), a cultural and business platform in Aarhus, where I collaborated with Bureau Detours and B//Huset, doing various projects both in Aarhus and in the surrounding towns; working with youth culture and creating projects with the local communities. I focused on citizen involvement and creating room for diverse culture, but also learnt how to use tools, build and project manage. This work led me to Grenaa, where I was the cultural coordinator, starting a youth cultural house called Arresten and afterwards starting and helping to build a new skate park, Hal 22. I have seen this path as invaluable in making me a better artist and improving my practice.

Today, I’m focused on my own art and have a great experience building exterior and interior for cultural projects. I focus on creating inspiring and eye-catching constructions that encourage interaction. I’m currently working on a scenography for a peephole puppet theatre called Alien on Board as part of Aarhus 2017 and next I’ll be making a three part interactive installation called Memories of Summer that will be exhibited in the coming winter.
