"I have been awarded the degree of Master of Interaction Design within Communication Design at the Design School Kolding (2013-2015). My Master thesis was “Researching Empathy Through Performance”, in which I have conceptualized, planned, performed and analyzed the performance “My Body, Your Room”. In this performance I have combined a dance performance with an interactive art installation in order strengthen the empathic relationship between the performer and his audiences. I was the first Master student in the Design School Kolding who chose to focus on the theoretic and academic research instead of the practical work, but all aspects of my work was equally successful and a year later I was presenting the same work in a conference about embodied methodologies at the Royal Holloway University of London.
Since my graduation I have been performing in several art events and festivals, such as LANDSHAPE – Land Art Festival in collaboration with Aalborg University and the artists Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen and Morten Poulsen, International Improfestival Aalborg, also in collaboration with Aalborg University, International Online Performance Art Festival, Kulturmødet Mors in collaboration with Dansefyrtårn Nord, Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg in collaboration with the artist Nina Saunders, Copenhagen Jazz Festival and other events. I work mostly with cross-disciplinary artworks involving ‘art and science’, ‘art and technology’, design and  ‘performance studies’. I have also been teaching HF theatre students in ‘modern dance’ and ‘performance art’.
ArT has taught me the ‘know-how’ to combine cross-disciplinary approaches in my art projects within the academic framework and problem-based learning, both in theory, through critical readings and analytical writings; and practice, through physical contact with electronics, sound and light equipment and other materials. ArT has also taught me notions of design that I have used for the application for the design school, where I graduated Master of Interaction Design."
