When going to the scrap yard we were drawn to this tremendous white mountain of DVD-cases. With our sculptural installation we are inviting the viewer to reflect upon the transformation from the analogue era to digitalism. What are we leaving behind when losing the tactility of DVD’s, books and CD’s? Are we losing anything apart from nostalgia? In a landscape made out of DVD-cases, ghosts are emerging, trying to get the attention of the viewer. By melancholy, horror and screams they are doing all they can to be noticed by the audience while trying to survive the digital era.
