Art and Technology Fall Exhibition 2016

The first semester students are creating sculptural installations in cooperation with the centre for deaf-blindness and loss of hearing in Aalborg. The projects take deaf-blindness or memories as their subject matter. 

Third semester students are working with wearable technology. Students are meant to design and implement and interplay of wearable technology and fashion design. Each group will present a wearable technology garment for the exhibition. 

Finally, the fifth semester students are working in the context of performance and technology in cooperation with Aalborg Theatre. The subject of the theatre play will be based on the book “Invisible Cities” by Italo Calvino, which features dialogues between Marco Polo and Kublai Khan about the many cities in the Khan’s empire. 

The exhibition of the first and third semester projects will be held December 1st from 17:00 till 22:00 and December 2nd from 17:00 till 21:00. The location of the exhibition will be announced at a later time.

The fifth semester’s performance will be held at Aalborg Theatre at December 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Exact times are yet to be announced.
