Associate Professor Dr Anthony (Tony) Brooks to be ongoing steering lead committee member of The International Conference on Advances in Computer Entertainment Technology (ACE)

Associate Professor Dr Anthony (Tony) Brooks has on September 3rd 2018 accepted a personal invitation by Professor Adrian David Cheok, who is currently Director of Imagineering Institute, Iskandar, Malaysia, and Professor of Pervasive Computing at City, University of London; Founder and Director of the Mixed Reality Lab, Singapore; also being Editor in Chief of the academic journals: ACM Computers in Entertainment, Transactions on Edutainment (Springer), and Lovotics: Academic Studies of Love and Friendship with Robots. 

The role is to be ongoing steering lead committee member of The International Conference on Advances in Computer Entertainment Technology (ACE), which this year is sponsored by Samsung and Tencent (enabling 80% reduction in registration fees). The event will be hosted at Missoula in western Montana -  see http://ace2018.info

This follows Brooks’ recently confirmed continued appointment (since 2004) as board member of the International Conference on Universal Access in Human-Computer Interaction - next iteration being the “21ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION to be hosted at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Orlando, Florida, USA, 26-31 July 2019” - see http://2019.hci.international and http://2019.hci.international/uahci
