The installation consisted of a composed soundscape and eight buttons installed on the floor of the exhibition space. Each button contained a different sound or effect that could be added to the soundscape. Through the soundscape the installation sought to collect the different ‘tales’ of the area in one space.

Interacting with the installation enabled the participants of affecting the development in the soundscape. If no interaction took place, the soundscape was designed to slowly develop on its own. Tales of a Space offered a platform to meet and collaborate on, and by that the installation functioned as a medium of interaction in itself.
