The installation MÄGI is a minimalistic and dynamic sculpture with a focus on elements such as atmosphere, perception, individual experience and contrasts as an interface to the theme Metaphoric Nature. MÄGI is an installation where contrasts from nature are abstractly and visually displayed through the use of materials, colors and sound.

The installation includes perception of objects in nature along with transformation of a lifeless object into a lifelike individual by giving it human-features and relatable personified characteristics. The installation encourages the participants to passively interact with it and to get emotionally involved by experiencing the displayed dynamic visuals and sound as a communication source. By spending time observing the installation the participants have the possibility to discover that the colorful visuals and the dynamic sound are connected.

The installation does not force a clear idea or experience onto the participants but instead allows the individuals to generate their own degree of involvement and experience. MÄGI intends to invite the participants to challenge, develop and transform their perception of a known object into an alternative opinion.
