Deriving from the semester themes Dynamic Art and Harmonic unfolding, we explored how to create an immersive environment with audio-visual means. The final outcome is an art installation, creating a metaphor for cyclical deterioration and decay. It consists of three elements: audio and projected visuals, which are both generated in real time, and a central sculptural piece. The sound is a musical composition that gradually deteriorates by becoming unsynchronized and going out of tune. The projection that reacts to the sound is cast on the geometrical structure made out of acrylic glass, which disperses the projected images across the room.
